TRUE LOVE STARTS WITHIN
“…but you said that you loved me.”
He looked at her and said, “I got what I
wanted from you. Now get dressed and get
out of my house.”
Sharon began to cry. “What have I done
wrong? Tell me. I’m willing to change or try
harder. Just tell me,” she begged between
heart-wrenching sobs. Without
compassion, he grabbed her by the arm
and pushed her out the front door.
This scene describes one that many of
our young girls often find themselves in.
Many of them end up in these types of
situations because they are lacking self-
love and self-respect. All too often, they
freely give up a part of themselves that is
frequently ignored and undervalued by
themselves and others.
In order for these young women to regain
their self-love and self-respect, they must
take a journey and go where they have
never gone before. They must search the
depth of their soul and hope to find new life.
This book is their map and it will take
them on a journey towards wholeness,
fulfillment, forgiveness and inner peace.
While on this journey, teenagers and
young adults will begin to discover a part of
them that is lost or forgotten. In some
cases, it was carelessly given away and in
other cases, it was taken from them.
As our teenagers and young adults move
through this journey towards wholeness,
they will learn how to look within
themselves and recapture their lost
treasure: their inner being or inner self.
At the end of their journey, it will no longer
matter how they were able to get lost. What
will matter is that they will have an
opportunity to get their internal “Self” back.
Through “Internal Circumcision,”
“Internal Detachment,” and the
“Restoration of Internal Brokenness,”
not only will the three characters outlined in
this book be able to recapture and
strengthen their inner self, but any
teenager or young adult who reads this
book will be able to do the same. The
challenges faced by each of the characters
are the results of the grief and loss of their
inner self.

takes a personal look into the lives of three young people who are all in search of love, fulfillment and happiness.
In their quest to experience these feelings, they begin looking outside of themselves and rely on others to make
